People who are just getting to know me are sometimes surprised that many years ago I shifted gears from working as a park ranger at White River National Forest in Colorado and now serve as a Sr. Mortgage Advisor with Stampfli Mortgage. But one common thread that ties these experiences together is getting to know and work with a lot of great people. In some ways, the process of buying or refinancing a home is a bit like embarking on a hike and not knowing exactly what the path or final destination will look like.

Now, with more than 20 years of mortgage industry experience spanning all types of residential lending, I can safely say that helping people navigate their home financing options and finding their best path forward is my very favorite thing about the work I do. I take great pride in helping my clients get where they want to go and enjoying the journey along the way.

Born and raised in Wisconsin, I spent many years in Milwaukee and the mountains of Colorado before landing in Madison with my beautiful wife. We live in Monona with our three amazing kids, a loving little dog and usually a few extra rodents and fish. The whole crew keeps us laughing and on our toes whether paddling, snowboarding, playing hockey or checking out a music festival.
